Contax™ is the ideal bonding agent for all dual cure, light cure and self cure materials.Specifically designed for use with Zenith/DMG's LuxaCore® Dual Core Material, PermaCem® Dual Permanent Cement and EcuSeal Pit and Fissure Sealant, Contax is also the ideal bonding agent for all composite and compomer materials. Contax is a self-etching, self-conditioning adhesive system for dentin and enamel.It consists of three components: Contax-Primer, Contax-Bond and Contax-Activator and can be used with all dual-curing, light-curing, and self-curing composites and compomers. Contax-Activator is only necessary when using a self-cure technique. Contax is extremely reliable and easy to use.Contax-Primer is self-etching and self-conditioning, so no additional etching is necessary. And, since the primer is water-based, the system is less technique sensitive than most one-bottle adhesives, allowing you to bond Contax wet, moist or dry. Since Contax is less technique sensitive, it helps to eliminate bonding failures and the postoperative sensitivity they can cause.
